Get up and running quickly
Fast delivery and simple placement mean you can start using your container right away.
On a properly prepared surface, damage is uncommon. A 20 foot container weighs about 4,800 lbs empty and a 40 foot about 8,200 lbs, with the weight concentrated on four corner castings. On asphalt in warm weather, or on older concrete, the corner castings can leave marks. Placing plywood or timbers under the corners cuts that risk way down.
Yes. You can add Contents Insurance when you sign your rental agreement or at any point during your rental. Coverage takes effect from the date it’s added, not retroactively. If you want to add coverage, contact your sales rep and we’ll update your agreement.
We don’t transport loaded containers. Any container moved by our trucks has to be empty. If you need to relocate a loaded container, you’ll need to empty it before we pick it up — or arrange separate specialty transport.
Every container has a place for you to attach your own padlock. You can use any commercial padlock, but we strongly recommend our 13-pound heavy-duty Eagle Locks for serious protection. Standard padlocks are easy targets. A proper container lock makes a real difference in whether your contents stay where you put them.
Not required, but we strongly recommend it. Having someone on site means you can point the driver to the exact placement spot, confirm door orientation, and flag any access issues before the container is set. If you can’t be there, leave clear written instructions and mark the placement area.
