Mostly different names for the same product. All describe a wheeled trailer with interior office space, HVAC, lighting, and electrical, used as temporary or semi-permanent jobsite office space. Single-wide refers specifically to a standard-width unit (as opposed to double-wide). The other terms are industry-interchangeable.
Our mobile office trailers range from 20′ up to 60′, with popular sizes at 20′, 28′, 32′, and 40′. Smaller trailers suit a one- or two-person job-site office, while larger multi-room units handle full project teams, meetings, and break areas. Each trailer rides on its own chassis for easy relocation.
An office container is a ground-level steel unit with HVAC, lighting, and electrical, built on a standard shipping container frame. An office trailer sits higher on wheels and usually includes stairs. Office containers are secure, stackable, and easy to place on tight sites — available across our full branch network. Office trailers offer more layout flexibility and often come in larger combo configurations with restrooms — stocked at select branches based on regional demand.
Most standard office trailers and office containers run on 50 amp, 240 volt single-phase service. Smaller units can run on 30 amps. The exact requirement depends on the unit size, HVAC tonnage, and any added appliances. Your sales rep will confirm the electrical spec for the specific unit you’re renting.
