The 53-foot trailer offers maximum capacity for businesses managing large inventories, seasonal overflow, or equipment-heavy job sites. Maximum Capacity on a Tandem Axle With 3,853 cubic feet of space and room for up to 26 pallets on a tandem axle, the 53ft trailer is the highest-capacity storage trailer in our lineup. When volume is the priority, nothing else comes close.
Dock-Height Access Sits at standard dock height for direct, seamless integration with your loading dock. Load and unload by forklift or hand dolly from the moment the trailer is in position.
Choice of Door Types Available with swing doors or roll-up doors to match your dock setup and loading preferences.
Durable Aluminum Construction Rugged aluminum roof and steel siding protect your stored goods from rain, wind, and extreme temperatures while keeping the trailer manageable enough to reposition on-site when needed.
When You Need Every Cubic Foot For warehouses managing peak season overflow, retailers stocking up for high-volume periods, or distribution centers that simply need more room, the 53ft trailer delivers the maximum storage capacity available in a single unit.
The Highest Pallet Count in Our Fleet With 26 pallet positions, the 53ft trailer handles more in a single unit than any other trailer we offer. Fewer trailers, less coordination, and a simpler overall storage operation.
Move It On-Site as Your Needs Change The 53ft trailer can be repositioned on-site as your workflow demands. Eagle Leasing handles all moves on your behalf.
Protect Your Inventory with Confidence Weather-resistant construction keeps your contents dry and secure. Add Contents Insurance or a Damage Waiver for complete coverage on everything stored inside.
A 48 foot trailer holds about 24 standard pallets on the floor. A 53 foot trailer holds about 26. Stack pallets or use racking and you can push those numbers up significantly. The limit is usually interior height (about 9 feet) and weight capacity, not floor space.
Yes, with our approval. If you need the trailer repositioned at your site, let us know — we can often handle it. If you’re hiring a third-party trucking company to move the trailer, contact us in advance so we can confirm insurance and authorization. Moving a trailer without notification may violate your rental terms.
No. Standard trailers are typically 96 inches wide or 102 inches wide. Height varies based on whether the unit is standard or high cube. If you’re storing oversized items, confirm interior dimensions with your sales rep before committing. We can match the trailer to the cargo.
No. The roof of a trailer isn’t a storage or walking surface. It’s built to shed water, not carry weight. Anything up there can damage the panels, void your lease, and create a safety hazard.
Eagle Locks are built mainly for storage containers and for swing (barn door) trailers. For overhead roll-up doors on trailers, a different style of lock (typically a puck-style hockey lock) is the right call. Ask your sales rep and we’ll match the right lock to the door type.
Every container has a place for you to attach your own padlock. You can use any commercial padlock, but we strongly recommend our 13-pound heavy-duty Eagle Locks for serious protection. Standard padlocks are easy targets. A proper container lock makes a real difference in whether your contents stay where you put them.
Not required, but roll-up doors are faster to open and close at a dock and don’t need swing clearance behind the trailer. Swing doors (barn doors) are standard on road trailers and work fine at a dock. Roll-up doors are a common preference for high-volume dock operations.
