Splitting the difference between our 40 and 48-footers, the 45-foot road trailer is a smart choice when you need a little more capacity without the full commitment of a larger unit. Tandem axle, weathertight construction, and plenty of room for palletized freight. A solid all-around trailer for businesses that keep things moving.

Extended Capacity on a Tandem Axle At 45 feet with a tandem axle, this trailer bridges the gap between the 40ft and larger 48 and 53 foot options. It handles increased cargo volume without committing to the full footprint of our largest trailers.
Road-Ready and On-Site Capable Like all Eagle Leasing road trailers, the 45ft unit can transport cargo anywhere within the continental United States while also functioning as secure on-site storage when not in transit. One trailer, two uses.
Choice of Door Types Available with swing doors or overhead roll-up doors, and can be equipped with logistic posts and e-tracks for securing and organizing loads during transport.
DOT-Inspected and Well-Maintained Every Eagle Leasing road trailer is maintained at one of our state-of-the-art facilities and is DOT-inspected before delivery so you can count on safe, reliable equipment every time.
More Capacity Without Sacrificing Access The 45ft trailer gives you meaningfully more room than the 40ft while remaining easier to maneuver than a 48 or 53 foot unit. It is a smart middle ground for operations that have outgrown smaller trailers but do not need the full scale of our largest options.
Move Cargo, Not Just Store It Storage trailers stay on site. Road trailers go where your business needs them to go. The 45ft unit gives you expanded over-the-road capacity without the added complexity of managing a larger trailer.
Secure On Site When Not in Transit When parked on your lot or at a job site, the trailer functions as secure, weather-resistant storage. Compatible with our Eagle Lock, kingpin locks, and glad hand locks for full on-site security.
Backed by Eagle Leasing Since 1967 Every road trailer in our fleet is maintained at our state-of-the-art facilities and delivered by our professional drivers. Routine maintenance is provided free of charge for all rental equipment.
Our largest standard trailers are 53 foot storage trailers and 53 foot road trailers. For flatbeds, we offer step decks, standard flatbeds, and drop decks up to 53 feet. Trailer inventory is stocked at select branches based on regional demand, so availability depends on your location. If you need specialty dimensions or extended lengths, talk to your sales rep about what’s available at the branch nearest your site.
Standard dry van trailers have an interior height of about 108 to 110 inches (9 feet). High cube trailers add another few inches. Exact interior height varies by manufacturer and model — your sales rep can confirm specs for the unit you’re quoting.
A standard 53 foot dry van trailer typically carries up to about 45,000 lbs of cargo, with the exact limit depending on the tractor, axle configuration, and state weight laws. Road-legal gross combination weight in most states is 80,000 lbs. Your sales rep can confirm specs for the unit you’re renting.
For storage containers: shelving, pipe racks, interior lighting, ramps, forklift ramps, vents (louvered and turbine), and 13-pound heavy-duty Eagle Locks. For storage and road trailers: Eagle Locks, gladhand locks, kingpin locks, and trailer stairs. For office units: anchoring hardware, skirting, and security options. Ask your sales rep about the full accessories list for your equipment type.
Standard dock height in North America is 48 to 52 inches off the ground. Our storage and road trailers are built to line up with standard dock heights, so you can back to a loading dock and roll freight on and off with a forklift or pallet jack.
A parked storage or road trailer sits roughly 48 to 52 inches off the ground at the floor — matched to standard loading dock height. The top of a standard trailer sits roughly 13’6″ off the ground, which is the max legal height for over-the-road hauling in most states.
